Darlington caretaker manager Craig Liddle has said he will not quit his post despite the threat of liquidation lingering over the club.
The administrators have admitted that Saturday’s Blue Square Bet Premier trip to Barrow could be the last, given the Quakers’ precarious financial position.
“It’s not in my nature to quit,” Liddle told BBC Tees.
“I’ll be here to the end. I told the lads I’ll probably be the one to put the lights out if that is the case.”
He added: “The boys have that same mentality, they want to see it through.
